Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls in grades 3–8 through a unique blend of physical activity and life skills education. Girls on the Run serves communities across the state of Indiana.

YMCA

YMCA youth sports programs offer a wide range of activities designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development for children of all ages. These programs focus on fun, skill-building, and inclusivity, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate and thrive. These sports include basketball, soccer, gymnastics, volleyball, track and field- varying by location

Rugby Indiana

Rugby Indiana is the state's governing body for youth and adult rugby, offering a range of programs for girls and boys ages 8–18. The organization supports over 1,650 players statewide, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Indiana Soccer Association

The Indiana Soccer Association (ISA) is the state's official governing body for soccer, affiliated with the U.S. Soccer Federation and U.S. Youth Soccer. It serves over 59,000 youth players, 2,000 adult players, and 8,000 coaches across more than 125 local clubs statewide. ISA offers a comprehensive pathway for players of all ages and skill levels.

Indiana Girls Basketball (IGB)

The Indiana Girls Basketball (IGB) organization offers a comprehensive, year-round player development program for girls in grades 3 through high school. Their approach combines skill training, team play, and exposure to competitive events, aiming to prepare athletes for collegiate opportunities.

i9 Sports Leagues

The i9 Sports® league in Indiana offers a variety of youth sports programs designed to promote fun, skill development, and sportsmanship for children aged 3 and up. With a focus on convenience and inclusivity, i9 Sports provides leagues in popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, and baseball across multiple Indiana locations, including Indianapolis, Hamilton County, and Northwest Indiana.

Indy Lacrosse Club

The Indy Lacrosse Club is a premier girls' lacrosse organization in Indiana, dedicated to providing athletes with high-quality training and competitive opportunities. Founded in 2011, the club welcomes players from across the state who aim to enhance their skills, compete at higher levels, and explore collegiate lacrosse prospects. The club emphasizes using lacrosse as a vehicle for personal and athletic development, fostering strong relationships, and building confidence both on and off the field.

Projects to Keep an Eye on:

Marvella Sports is an innovative sports and leadership complex dedicated to empowering young female athletes. Located at Fair Oaks Farms in Newton County, Indiana, it is set to become the nation's first sports campus uniquely designed for women athletes. The facility aims to provide a comprehensive experience that combines elite athletic training with educational programs in leadership, mental health, wellness, and nutrition. Construction is slated to begin in Spring 2025, with Phase 1 expected to open in Summer 2026.
